Celebrity Designer Angelo Surmelis Scheduled to Launch Furniture and Bedding Collections
Award-winning designer and television host Angelo Surmelis became one of the most trusted designers in the U.S. through his shows on Lifetime (Merge), TLC (Clean Sweep) and HGTV (24 Hour Design, Rate My Space with Angelo Surmelis). Since 2003 he has transformed more than 400 rooms on his TV shows, while helping millions discover their own potential through design with his mission statement: “changing spaces, changing lives.” Once homeless, Angelo is living proof that one’s surroundings matter and can be a catalyst for great things. He is now bringing his message and the angelo:HOME brand to QVC® shoppers with innovative furniture, bedding, home décor and more.
Surmelis is scheduled to appear on QVC Monday, September 27 at 1 PM (ET) to unveil angelo:HOME, a collection of affordable luxury pieces for today’s modern living. The entire line is inspired by decades of working in American homes. He has listened to the needs and wants from every corner of this great country and brought them together with well-made, quality constructed pieces.
“The idea of creating a line just for the sake of more stuff in the world didn’t appeal to me,” remarked Angelo Surmelis. “Helping people have an affordable way to tell their story where they live did… and that’s why I started angelo:HOME. I’m geekishly passionate about showing people how their surroundings can change their lives! The collaboration with QVC was a natural progression that was quite simply a ‘no brainer.’ QVC is a leader in customer service, quality and value. The angelo:HOME line was created to complement almost any room in the home. From armless/arm chairs and space-saving nesting ottomans to beautifully-designed woven and printed bedding sets, drapes and rugs, the collection is designed to look like it came from multiple sources. Each piece is well appointed, with a special attention to detail, including individual hammered nail head trim on seating and ottomans, double-sided accent pillows and throw blankets for additional looks. The styles, colors and patterns are designed to coordinate with virtually any home—from traditional to modern.
