Hang up new stuff on the walls. You could take a page from my book and move art from one room to another, or you can create your own wall masterpiece with fabric. “Hang a curtain rod on a feature wall and drape inexpensive fabric in a great fall color,” advises interior and furniture designer Angelo Surmelis, who sells his wares on QVC, including a set of three paisley imprinted ottomans. “This brings some color into your room and it adds a layer of texture, which is perfect for fall.”
